Bug club FAQ:
1. Can I run Bug Club on an Ipad?
Bug Club on Ipads
Bug Club requires Flash to work and by default this is not installed on Apple devices. In order to use Bug Club on an Apple device you have to download an app or browser that supports Flash.
An app which supports Bug Club that can be downloaded onto Ipads is: “ Photon Flash Player”.
Once you are on the browser, to enter Flash mode, you need to tap the lightning button at the top of the screen. This turns on streaming mode, allowing Flash to display within the browser. You may need to click it more than once for it to initially load.
You can also click on the cog tab to adjust the bandwidth, for optimal Flash experiences. Bandwith 1 is the slowest setting; bandwidth 6 is the highest speed network.
This app can be downloaded on Itunes/ App Store for £2.99 for apple devices or for free from the Play Store for android.

2. Bug Club is slow on my pc/laptop/netbook?
Some people have found Bug Club very slow in performance which is most likely due to the browser being used. The Bug Club technical department suggest that Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are the best web browsers to use. Both are available as free downloads. If you want to use Explorer then make sure and disable any add-ons that you don’t really need and delete all your temporary files. You can do this under Tools/Internet Options on the Explorer screen.

When you open the book watch out for the Bug Icon on each page. You have to click on this icon and answer a question before you go to the next page. A completed task is identified by a bug with his eyes closed. The book and the points earned will be saved when all of the tasks have been completed.
